Comparing the brackets above with last week’s list: Texas Todd dropped from 1st to 2nd, Left Handed Bracket was tied for 3rd last week, so were Busters Mashers and Basketball Jones. Arizona Ballers and Blue Ponchos didn’t change at all and everyone else moved into the top ranks this week!

Shifting Ranks In The Snow Hockey Pool Top 10

4th Annual Snow Hockey Pool

Top 4 spots remain the same!

The top 4* remain the same and we have an almost 20 point difference between 1st and 4th, so we should just be mindful that none of those 4 are eligible for prizes and see who’s angling to win where it counts!

Team geemen* dropped from T3 to 4th, and Sequin Scores raced up from T9 to land in 5th. Team Bourque Fried Rice moved from 5th to 6th to make room and Disciples of Domi dropped from T6 to 8 so Sequin could squeeze in!

Roger* (AZ Islanders) is beginning to redeem himself as he moves up to 7th! That’s about 6 places from last week and his first showing in the Top 10!

Two teams: team sheldon and The Usual Suspects fill out the 10 places, team sheldon dropping from T6 to 9th and Suspects listed at 10th (T9 last week)

Hockey Pool Family Domination Continues – 5th and 6th Teams Are In the Prize Seats

If you haven’t been watching closely, you might have missed that most of the Top 5 standings are Snow team or Snow family members. Affiliate Manager Randy has been leading for several weeks, with Roger’s wife, son and father close on his heels. But there’s been a bit of a shakeup (Son, Wife, Dad, then Randy), and you have to go clear to Team 5 (Bourque Fried Rice) and Team 6 (Disciples of Domi) to find a player eligible for a sponsored prize!

    Snow Hockey Pool – Here’s When It Gets Fun!

    4th Annual Snow Hockey Pool

    This week’s Snow Hockey Pool standings show us one thing for sure – well two things for sure:

    1) You can be in 4th place and still in the lead for a prize.

    2) Roger is still behind everyone in the top 11.

    We didn’t release the standings publicly last week. The official reason was my absence on Tuesday, but the real reason is pretty obvious. Mrs. Snow was still way ahead of Mr. Snow*.

    This week, 1st, 2nd and 3rd place are occupied by Snow Team members or immediate family (but not Roger), so Team Canadian Bacon is in 4th place and winning in his own way, both at the same time. Here’s the top 5:

    There are quite a few ties , including a 3-way tie for 8th place that has some familiar faces moving in the right direction. The rest of the Snow Team (Joe, Trisha, Tanya, me) are pretty well out of it – Tied for 34th or 35th might be the best among us.

    Trouble In Snow Hockey Paradise – Top 5 Standings

    2 members of Snow Team in the top 5 and neither of them is Roger!

    Last week, Roger predicted that he would never hear the end of it if Kareth beat him in his own Hockey Pool. That’s so true, starting now!

    This week brings another Snow Team member into the Top 5. Randy Norton is playing just for the fun of beating Roger; no Snow team members are eligible for prizes, of course. But Randy’s team came from nowhere to sit in 4th place this week.

    The biggest change might be Team “Shanahand me a beer” – fell from 2nd place last week to 6th today. Team “Checks Chick” also fell out of the top 5, at least for now!

    It looks like our Snow Team member Trisha has had her run of luck in the top 5 – Team Half Baked has fallen to 7th place! But another Snow Team member has entered the standings; can you guess which team* it is?
