ShareSnow Hockey Pool – Here’s When It Gets Fun!
4th Annual Snow Hockey Pool
This week’s Snow Hockey Pool standings show us one thing for sure – well two things for sure:
1) You can be in 4th place and still in the lead for a prize.
2) Roger is still behind everyone in the top 11.
We didn’t release the standings publicly last week. The official reason was my absence on Tuesday, but the real reason is pretty obvious. Mrs. Snow was still way ahead of Mr. Snow*.
This week, 1st, 2nd and 3rd place are occupied by Snow Team members or immediate family (but not Roger), so Team Canadian Bacon is in 4th place and winning in his own way, both at the same time. Here’s the top 5:

- AZ Canucks (Roger’s son)

There are quite a few ties , including a 3-way tie for 8th place that has some familiar faces moving in the right direction. The rest of the Snow Team (Joe, Trisha, Tanya, me) are pretty well out of it – Tied for 34th or 35th might be the best among us.

Last week, Roger predicted that he would never hear the end of it if Kareth beat him in his own Hockey Pool. That’s so true, starting now!
This week brings another Snow Team member into the Top 5. Randy Norton is playing just for the fun of beating Roger; no Snow team members are eligible for prizes, of course. But Randy’s team came from nowhere to sit in 4th place this week.
The biggest change might be Team “Shanahand me a beer” – fell from 2nd place last week to 6th today. Team “Checks Chick” also fell out of the top 5, at least for now!

It looks like our Snow Team member Trisha has had her run of luck in the top 5 – Team Half Baked has fallen to 7th place! But another Snow Team member has entered the standings; can you guess which team* it is?
And Victorious V is holding on to her 1st place slot with a 16 point lead!

We have a clear front-runner in Team Half Baked, but that’s a Snow Team member, so don’t despair. We aren’t eligible for prizes.
Second place is tied up with 115 points each, but that’s only 1 point better than the 3-way tie for 4th. So our Top 5 standings are actually comprised of 6 teams, with just a 1st, 2nd and 4th place for now.
